Samsung M8 Monitor Review – Recently Samsung Launched the upgraded version of the M7 series monitor, the Samsung M8 Series (LS32BM801UNXGO). You can call this an intelligent monitor that gives you more features like streaming apps, a webcam, voice assistance,

and a 32 inches 4K HDR10 display with a 60Hz refresh rate and USB Type C connectivity for better productivity connectivity. The monitor focuses on Multimedia and productivity, The monitor work with the Tizen operating system but there are many bad things about this monitor if you wondering about adding this machine to your working setup.

The design of this monitor is very impressive but the build quality is not as premium, also the stand is not fully adjustable, and as working monitor adjustability is the main key factor that decides whether a monitor is well or not because it gives you perfect viewing angles to a comfortable position.

It has a webcam that you make video calls or record video, also it has Alexa and Bixby support which you can get a lot more information and give a command such as turning on the lights by smart home.

Build and Design

The Samsung M8 looks very nice and attractive design but the build quality is not great, It doesn’t feel premium. The stand is very similar to Apple’s iMac, very slim, and offers many color options that are very good, the one bad thing about this monitor is the stand is not fully adjustable so you can use swivel/portrait, and the monitor is not wall mountable.

The Samsung M8 comes with a 32 inches 4K HDR10 display with slim bezels, The colors are so good and look very stunning. The contrast is good but the HDR peak brightness is a little low with weaker horizontal/vertical angles quality.

The reflection handling of this monitor is a little weak, but the overall picture quality is good one big con of this monitor regarding quality is the horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Otherwise, it’s a very good monitor with good image outputs.

Performance

It has a 60Hz refresh rate and there is no FreeSync/G-Sync for smooth gameplay and the monitor is not good for gaming. Performance-wise good at working purposes, there is no big issue while any type of work in this monitor. The USB Type C ports help you to connect and transfer data easily with your Mac devices.
